Foodex 2018 to offer insight into how to capitalise on a growing beverage market
The NEC, Birmingham, 16-18 April 2018
With experts predicting the global beverage market will expand to $1.9tn dollars by 2021,[1] Foodex 2018 will provide drink manufacturers with an exclusive first look at the latest innovations in this growing industry, plus insights into the key trends driving the sector forward.
Taking place over three days (16-18 April 2018), Foodex will see over 500 suppliers exhibit at the show, including Air Products, Chromalox, Coperion K-Tron, Holmach Ltd and Kadant UK, who will be joined by a raft of other industry leaders and innovators.
Exhibitor highlights will include hygiene and recycling specialists Unisan (stand M271). Around the world a million plastic bottles are purchased every minute,[2] prompting a number of companies, including PepsiCo and Coca-Cola making a commitment to increase their collection and recycling aims. Now is an important time for firms in this sector to set, rather than follow, a trend. Unisan’s Café Crush will be on display at Foodex, for visitors looking for a reliable bottle, cup and can deposit solution.
Also at the show will be Inspiron Labelling Solutions (stand Q329), exhibiting both its Manual and Automatic Weigh Price Labellers, vital equipment for some of the world’s leading manufacturers, and Fischbein-Saxon (stand M328), who will bring the latest bag packaging equipment for the drinks industry.
