Features:     Live events at Foodex 2016 will include feature competitions such as the National Meat Products Competition and Young Butchers Competition, presented by the National Federation of Meat and Food Traders (NFMFT).

Directions:

By Rail -     The NEC is situated adjacent to Birmingham International Rail Station. Depending on your start location, you can travel directly by train to the NEC by alighting at Birmingham International. Alternatively there is a connecting service to Birmingham International from Birmingham New Street. For further information on travelling by train to Birmingham International Station, please contact National Rail enquiries.
 
By Bus and Coach - National Express coaches run services between Digbeth coach            station, near Birmingham city centre, to Birmingham Airport.
From the airport you can get to the NEC in minutes. Birmingham New Street station is approx. 11 minutes walk from Digbeth coach station. The NEC is approximately 10 miles by taxi from the coach station at Digbeth. There are also buses from Digbeth via Moor Street Bus/Rail Interchange (also in Birmingham city centre): the 900 local bus service runs every 20 minutes during the day, journey time approximately 30 minutes.

By Air -         The NEC is just minutes away from Birmingham Airport (BHX).
From the airport, simply take the free and fast Air-Rail Link to Birmingham International railway station and then it’s just a short walk to the entrance. The Air-Rail Link runs every two minutes and takes just 90 seconds to reach the NEC. It leaves the airport from the upper level of Terminal 1, and operates daily between 5:15am and 2:00am.

By Taxi -     ComCab black cabs are available at clearly marked ranks outside the NEC’s main entrances. They’re an easy and convenient way to get to your hotels and the towns and attractions around the NEC. By Car:     The NEC is situated at the hub of the UK motorway network allowing visitors travelling from any direction to access the site directly via the M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll, M40 and M42.

The NEC is signposted on motorways and major roads and is marked on most good maps.  If using a satellite navigation system please enter the postcode B40 1NT.

Parking:     The NEC has its own on-site car parks located close to the exhibition halls (Foodex is located in Halls 19 and 20) and is within easy walking distance. Please refer to the NEC site map for more information.
