Sharpak shape up for the new growing season
A £2m investment programme and broader packaging portfolio places Sharpak Aylesham in pole position for the new season.
The name Sharpak has been synonymous with fresh produce packaging for 50 years - based in Aylesham, Kent they have long been recognised as pre-eminent suppliers of packaging for the Industry. Through good and bad times Sharpak has been there reliably supporting the market when others fall short.
A philosophy of continual investment and improvement have long been recognised hallmarks for Sharpak maintaining market leadership. And now, with a substantial investment in new machinery and systems through its new owners Groupe Guillin, improving efficiency and customer experience the company is well placed to ensure continued and sustained growth in its markets into 2012 and beyond.
The benefit of an unparalleled range of products for the fresh produce market through European-wide Groupe Guillin is already finding favour with many of its customers who see the advantage of buying under one roof. Working in close cooperation with its sister companies Sharpak can supply an even larger and more comprehensive range for soft, stone and exotic fruits packaging in either PET, PP or PS alongside its own range of PET products.
