TROMP PROMOTES TWO NEW MACHINES AT FOODEX
Tromp is introducing two new bakery machines at Foodex (stand N330) – a twin depositor for 2-colour cakes, and an injector to add fillings into baked confectionery. A Unimac depositor will also be in operation on the stand.
The new PDSM Servo Depositor will primarily be used for muffins; a split hopper allows depositing of any percentage of different coloured and flavoured doughs to create innovative, high-value products. An 80% white vanilla muffin with 20% chocolate based dough, or vanilla with a fruit flavoured dough such as blueberry are typical. Cheesecake is another potential application.
Two of these depositors can be installed for luxury, 4-colour goods.
A servo control gives extremely accurate control of deposit volume to approximately 2%; small solid particles can be included; and programmable touch-screen operation ensures precise repeatability of recipes.
The other new machine is the Unimac XL injector. This adds flavours such as jams, creams, fruit paste or praline into deposited cakes, either pre- or post-baking. There is a 100-programme memory for maximum flexibility, and simple, rapid set up for new products or shapes.
With high accuracy of ±2%, easy dismantling and c leaning, and touch-screen operation, the Unimac XL is a cost-effective means of adding appeal and value to the cake sector.
The Unimac is a Universal electronic depositor, extremely versatile and programmable to create virtually any shape over a wide size range. The product range includes cookies, batters, meringues, praline fillings and choux paste.
Modular design means that a basic Unimac can be upgraded at any time with a choice of optional devices. A unique feature is that the machine can be configured to fit above a make-up line.
The Unimac is one of a range of Tromp electronic, roll, auger and spot depositors covering a wide spectrum of bakery operations.
