Foodex 2010 Gains Momentum with Support from Across the Industry - September 17, 2009

Foodex, the leading exhibition for the food and drink processing sector has been gaining increasing support from across the industry since its rebrand from Foodex Meatex in January. Leading trade associations for the sector including National Skills Academy for Food & Drink Manufacturing, Campden BRI and the International Agri-Technology Association have already pledged their support for the show and are providing top-level seminar content for the Foodex Business Briefing Theatre. These organisations recognise the value of Foodex to both their members and the food and drink sector as a whole. "In a recent poll, our members voted Foodex as the exhibition they are most likely to attend in the food and drink processing calendar. Foodex offers a comprehensive mix of exhibitors alongside informative content which is vital for keeping ahead of the game," commented Peter Moores, Head of Sales and Marketing, Food Processing Faraday Partnership. As well as industry-wide organisations, sector-specific associations, in line with the new ‘@Foodex’ sector branding have also pledged their support for Foodex including the Dairy UK, National Federation of Meat and Food Traders and the Provision Trade Federation. It is a meeting place for all the key players from the industry and allows the sharing of best practice and an opportunity to see exciting new innovations for improving efficiency.
